Privacy Policy

Many Words One Voice (“MWOV,” “we,” “us”) publishes wellness writing at manywordsonevoice.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because the site collects very little.

1. Information we collect

a. Information you give us

  • Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe to the weekly letter, including when you request the free Burnout Nutrition Checklist, we collect your email address. Sign-ups are processed by MailerLite on our behalf.
  • Email. If you write to us at brees@manywordsonevoice.com, we receive whatever you choose to include in your message.

b. Information collected automatically

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles people read and how they arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies and records information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4 in a way that identifies you to us.
  • Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process connection data such as your IP address and request headers to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare acts as a processor for this data.
  • Spam protection. Our newsletter sign-up form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell real people from automated spam. It loads only when you start typing your email address, and it sends Google information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and how you interact with the page. reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

This site has no user accounts, no comment system, and no e-commerce. We do not collect health information about you, and nothing you read here is tied to your identity by us.

2. How we use information

  • To send the newsletter you asked for, and to let you unsubscribe with one click.
  • To reply when you contact us.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which topics readers find useful so we can plan future articles.
  • To keep the site secure and available.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. The only parties that handle data on our behalf are the service providers named in this policy: MailerLite (newsletter), Google (analytics and reCAPTCHA spam protection), Cloudflare (hosting), and YouTube (video embeds, where an article includes one). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

5. Your rights and choices

  • Newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove you.
  • Analytics. You can block Google Analytics with a browser extension such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by blocking third-party scripts. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal by not loading analytics at all.
  • Access, correction, and deletion. Email brees@manywordsonevoice.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, these rights apply to you under those laws. Our lawful basis for analytics is legitimate interest in understanding readership; for the newsletter it is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

6. Data retention

Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months. Email correspondence is kept as long as it is useful for answering you.

7. Children

The site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has subscribed, email us and we will remove the address.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because it is a static site with no database of readers, there is very little to breach; the newsletter list lives with MailerLite, which maintains its own security program.

9. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes will also be mentioned in the newsletter.
